I was eager to bake something sweet and use up blueberry jam that I made a while ago. Thus, sweet rolls came to my mind. My inspiration was cinnamon rolls, well the dough to be more precise. The filling – blueberries and cottage cheese – was something that I had in fridge and was really in a need to use up before it went bad.

I used Paula Deen recipe for the dough: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/cinnamon-rolls-recipe.html. Thus you will need:
- 1/4 -ounce instant yeast
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
To make the dough: put all ingredients into bread machine and set it to dough mode. 1,5 hours later you will have a nicely kneaded and razed dough.
For the filling:
- 1/2 cup of blueberry jam (please find the recipe for it here: https://sourdoughmovement.com/2016/06/13/frozen-blueberry-jam-in-bread-machine/
- 1/2 of cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup of sugar
When doubled in size, punch down dough. Roll out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the filling evenly and sprinkle sugar on top. Role up dough and pinch edge together to seal. Cut into 12 to 15 slices.
Coat the bottom of baking pan with flour. Place blueberry and cottage cheese roll slices close together in the pan and let rise until dough is doubled, about 45 minutes. Bake for about 30 minutes or until nicely browned in preheated 350F oven.
Enjoy!
