What is better than having good start of a day with tasty breakfast. To do that and eat up all the jam that I have prepared lately, I decided to bake some scones. The combination with a cup of cappuccino is perfect for breakfast.
I took a twist on a classical scones recipe (http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/best-ever-scones) and made them in the following way. You will need:
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 8 oz of heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tsp of baking powder
For baking I used cup cakes form. In this way scones came out in a nice shape.
And then baked the scones in 350F for 45min.
Finally, I used my mixed berry jam to make the scones taste even better.
Enjoy!

I love scones, but mine never come out the way I want them to. I think I’ve just found myself a recipe for this Sunday’s breakfast, cause these look great!
