Perfect breakfast: bread machine jam and homemade scones

What is better than having good start of a day with tasty breakfast. To do that and  eat up all the jam that I have prepared lately, I decided to bake some scones. The combination with a cup of cappuccino is perfect for breakfast.

I took a twist on a classical scones recipe ( and made them in the following way. You will need:

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 8 oz of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp of baking powder

For baking I used cup cakes form. In this way scones came out in a nice shape.

And then baked the scones in 350F for 45min.

Finally, I used my mixed berry jam to make the scones taste even better.
