I keep on experimenting with different types of jams. My next project was chunky mango jam.
I bought mango in Walmart and still found it a bit expensive and not very tasteful. Still, I decided that it should be good enough for jam.
The recipe is as always simple and straightforward:
- 2 cups of cut mango
- 1,5 cups of sugar
- 3 tbsp of pectin
This makes 2,5 jars of jam.
And it tastes good!
I’ve definitely made some tasty jam out of so-so fruit. Amazing what cooking it with sugar can do!
