To make San Diego feel more like home, my next bread maker project was to bake European style bread.
I have checked the recipe for French bread in machine manual, but it seemed way too complex and not that European. Thus, I have adjusted the recipe and this simple bread I came up with.
Ingredients:
– 1 cup of warm water
– 2 tbsp of olive oil
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tbsp of sugar
– 3 1/2 cups of bread flour
– 1 tsp of active yeast
The result came out very well. Definitely something one could by in Europe.
